A real treat

I guess looking through the world of the eyes of a child is still the most entertaining thing for me.
We went out to eat the other night with my parents and my nephews, who were spending the night. It is always a task to get the boys to eat dinner when we all go out because they are just such hams and like to play more than eat. So someone came up with the idea of letting them eat dinner with chopsticks. They had not only me and the rest of our table laughing, but a few other neighboring tables watching as well. Who would have known that just mixing things up a bit could be such a hoot. I was just glad that we didn't order soup. The little guys didn't quite have the knack for using the chopsticks in a traditional manner, but hey, we got them to eat.

Free is good!

Today while looking around my google reader I found a post with some links to some great free fonts. Trouble is, I have no idea how to use them. So if anyone out there is a computer genius and wants to explain the the village idiot how to get them to download and open up in my word processor, please leave me a comment and I will get a hold of you! Thank you.

Oh btw...this is the site, I hope you find one that you would like to use. If I recall correctly there are 50 different link to free fonts. I am really fond of this one and can already think of about 10 different scrapbook pages I could do some titles for with it. It just has that western edge to it without being so crazy that you can't even read it. If it is not to much I would love to download most of the fonts for future applications. They really have some wild and crazy ones that would be a hoot to try out.

Snowflakes

How cool is it when you make a super easy craft and folks complement you on how great it looks and just how amazing it is.

Well that my friends is exactly how I felt this week when I made a few snowflakes for the office. Just look how cool these babies turn out...

I found the instructions here... http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-3D-Paper-Snowflake

Trust me, it is super easy.

The boys

I know that this is going to be the last place that people involved will be looking for holiday gifts this year. But just in case...family members must don't ruin it for yourself. Turn back now! lol

I took my little nephews out on the town the other day and did a little photo shoot for them to give photos for their parents and grandparents. I can't say exactly what they thought about it all in the end, but I for one had a blast spending a little extra time with the munchkins.

Here is a little preview of some of my favorite shots.

But of course they are so darn much fun...I had to laugh at most of the ones that I liked because I just let them run wild a few times and snaped photos of whatever they were doing.

We had a great time this Halloween when we invited friends and family over to share in the chaos that is our life.

Help me out...

Once again it's time for the annual Utah County Art Gallery Photography Show. This year I have decided once again to enter, but the delema becomes what to show? So it's up for a vote. I have narrowed all my entries down to a few solid choices.

I just don't know what to take. So send me your thoughts on the matter!
